Purpose of meeting: EXEMPT INFORMATION – TO CONSIDER
PASSING THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION IN RESPECT OF THE
ITEMS LISTED BELOW.
That the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of
business on the grounds that they involve likely disclosure of information
prejudicial to the public interest as defined in the Local Government Act 1972. PL
proposed, seconded AS, seven in favour, one against, one abstention
a. Action required reference letters received from Mr B. Jordan Town Clerk.
b. Proposed visit to SWPE by council representatives.

RI proposed and DE seconded the apologies be accepted, unanimously agreed at
main meeting.
a. Letters from Mr B. Jordan to the council dated the 4th June and 30th July
reported on by PC. BL read out a letter received from the Devon & Cornwall
Police.
b. BL, JP, RI and the clerk to visit SWPE on Friday 10th August, 2007.
c. Extraordinary meeting to be called for the 13th August 2007 to receive report
and recommendations received reference council representatives visit to SWPE,
any other correspondence on this matter to also be put on the agenda.
