1. APOLOGIES – A Hearnden (ill), R Rotchell (working). Absent S Morris.

2. RECEIVE DECLARATION OF INTEREST: none
3. TO CONSIDER PASSING THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION IN
RESPECT OF THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW :
“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of
business on the grounds that they involve likely disclosure of information prejudicial
to the public interest as defined in the Local Government Act 1972.” Proposed PL,
seconded JP, PC against, remainder in favour.
4. Agree to accept a written notice signed by four members to rescind the
previous resolution not to join SWPE. Proposed BI, seconded MB, PC
against, remainder in favour.
5. Resolve to join SWPE and use their legal services for advice on the Town
Clerk’s suspension and his letter of 4 July 2007. Proposed MB, seconded JP,
PC against. Remainder in favour.
6. Access to Camelford Town Council’s website by unauthorised persons.
Resolved to investigate the person who accessed the website without
authorisation. Resolved that BI investigate initially with NCDC who the
webmaster is. Proposed MB, seconded JP, 2 abstentions, remainder in favour.
7. Resolve to write formally to the suspended Town Clerk to ask him to provide
the Council with the password for the Camelford Town Council website.
Proposed MB, seconded PL, PC abstained, remainder in favour.
8. Resolved that the Julio Rome documents are passed to the police for
investigation. Proposed BI, seconded JP, all in favour.
9. Reply from Beachcroft reference council request. Reply noted.
10. Resolved to contact the Police to establish the current ongoing investigations
concerning Camelford Town Council and the source of the complaint.

11. Correspondence
a. Letter from Office for Judicial Complaints. Resolved to write
(respond) to the Office for Judicial Complaints requesting the nature of
the complaint. Proposed MB, seconded JP. All in favour.
