Since July 2001 Val & Jim have been raising money for Multiple
Sclerosis. The Merlin Project aims to open a therapy centre in Cornwall, and has recently acquired land in Hewas Water near St. Austell. So far the pair have raised £6,000 selling Jams, preserves, pickles, Plants and cuddly toys. There are three incidents of the disease in Val's family.
